Four decades on one platform are rare, and they leave a mark. Ralf Geyer has seen the mainframe from almost every angle: technically, in operations, in delivery responsibility and on the sales side — at home and internationally.
That shapes the way he holds a conversation. Anyone who has spent years in service delivery knows the side of the customer that never appears in a presentation: the maintenance window that does not fit, the commitment that is hard to keep in production, the budget that was spent back in the autumn.

More than 30 years of professional experience on the platform — from systems programming of large z/OS installations through performance and cost analysis to supporting tenders and transitions, plus broad market knowledge and a solid network in the mainframe community.
That combination is the actual point: whoever negotiates contracts about capacity should know how capacity arises. And whoever sets limits should know the operation that has to live with them.

Every statement comes with its source. What we cannot substantiate, we do not say — however good it would sound.
